The Shore Garden
Room is light and airy with two large windows that flood the
room with afternoon and evening sun all year round. Redecorated and renovated in 2012 it is even better than before with new hardwood floors. The view is south, to
the famous Martello Tower and on to the Bay of Fundy, and west,
through the trees to St. Peters church and the grassy common that
served as a public burial ground for the early settlers in the
late 1700's and early 1800's.
The decor is decidedly Victorian, fun and frivolous, with two
four poster beds, one single bed and one queen bed with rich royal
blue walls and white trim. There is a private ensuite bath room with a
unique cast iron tub/shower rescued from a nearby house renovation.
The beds are piled high with pillows and are an irresistible
invitation to luxuriate the morning away. Breakfast in bed is
available, but please try to make it down to the grand Galley dining
room on at least one morning.
