This Premium Suite is located in what once was the formal parlors of the David Roberts house. It is an elegant and well appointed, open plan, two room suite located on the main floor with spacious bedroom and adjoining sitting room. Tenand a half foot ceilings with original, ornate plaster work medallions and detailed cove moldings and a white marble fireplace* highlight the suite. 4 Large windows with floor length plantation style shutters look out over the wrap around veranda and patio garden and flood the room with afternoon sun. The luxurious attached bathroom with thick fluffy towels and robes boasts a large whirlpool tub and shower to ease your cares and road weary miles away. Later on, a pair of silk covered Boudoir chairs, purchased from the estate of Lady Beaverbrook will wrap you in comfort as you read or lounge before bed. And finally, to bed, in a marvelous four poster with top of the line pillow soft queen size mattress that will lull you to sleep at the end of the day.

Like all the rooms at Homeport, the Captain's Suite is quite large and will easily accommodate a stay of any length. Each room has individual temperature controls, private line telephone and remote color television with a DVD and a selection of movies available on site. In addition this premium suite has an efficiency kitchen with fridge, and sink .
